[She starts at the voice, head whipping in its direction. Shiki doesn't recognize him, but something's a little off But he must be a Player, just like her, and he may be looking to form a contract. With no one else around, she didn't have much of an option.]

[Everything's still here: her phone and Mr. Mew, and tucked in her pocket is the Groove Pawn. At the moment, Mr. Mew remains lifeless, and Shiki wonders if her stuffed animal could sleep.

And now she's straying from the problem at hand. Facing Joshua, she asks,]
