you guys know what time it is... it's White Day, the day that you give back for the chocolate you received last month on Valentine's Day! (traditionally it's guys giving back to girls, but we don't worry about that sort of thing here c:) get all your best cookies, cakes, marshmallows and - if you're feeling traditional - white-colored accessories ready to go!

this is a free-for-all honestly, I was gonna make prompts and blanked out, so go wild instead! don't forget to list your prefs if you have any, tag your nsfw, be excellent to each other, etc. for extra funsies and/or if you need some inspiration, you can have ~Magic Chocolates~ from a really old White Day meme on bakerstreet:

1. Coconut: will cause you to do anything for attention from the first person you talk to.
2. Vanilla: initiates a traditional "I'm suddenly in love with you" scenario.
3. Truffle: causes physical attraction only. Feelings of lust.
4. Maple Nut: makes you want to stalk someone.
5. Raspberry: has you crushin' hard on a person, but you keep it a secret as much as you can!
6. Caramel: has you decide to ask someone out on a casual date. No immense feelings.
7. Mint: causes you to decide a person is your BEST FRIEND EVER. To what degree is up to you.
8. Lemon: causes HATEFUL feelings.
9. Chocolate Creme: inspires you to kiss the first person you see.

[She might've not been rich in the literal sense, but Touma couldn't hide his astonishment over the fact that this girl in front of him was equivalent of royality all things considered. And not only that... It appears there might've been some cultism involved?! This certainly sounded old-fashioned in his mind, but Touma was starting to get a bigger picture on why she'd want to explore the world so much.]

So this "Oyashiro-sama" that you're talking about... Is that like the village deity back at your village? It sounds like there was a lot on your plate to not only be part of a big time family, but to have people thinking that you're a literal god or something!

[Though Touma was much more savvy with the supernatural by now that he knew that there was always more to what appeared on the surface. While he's in the middle of thinking, he reaches out to grab a chocolate piece and starts to eat it.

Hm... This one appeared to have some creme in the center. It certainly added more flavor whenever he munched at the shell.]

But it sounds like that this village deity of yours doesn't appear to be all that bad. If the so-called "reincarnation" of a god is sweet as silk, then the actual god itself has to be the same.

Is it really that ominous? Yashiro is just the word for 'shrine', and oyashiro just tacks the 'o' on top of it.

[But then she giggles at being called sweet. It's ironic, considering that she knows just how bitter she really is.]

S-Seriously?! Hold on... Isn't it dangerous to be deconstructing a entire religion like this? It almost sounds like a joke now!

[Now he couldn't call himself overly religious, but how many gods has he met by now? More than he wanted in a single lifetime...]

'Au au'? This god of yours is starting to sound more like a mascot than something you'd expect from divinity. You're saying that you can actually talk to her and stuff like that? What does she look like?

[If the students were listening to Rika right now, Touma had to wonder if they'd still be following her like obedient lambs. Though he thinks: "Maybe it's been a while since she could really talk to someone like this. She's definitely having fun, that's for sure."]

[She takes out a notebook and pen from her schoolbag as she starts to sketch out Hanyuu from memory. She wouldn't say that she's the most talented of artists, but she does decently enough before she shows it to him.]

It's just a sketch, but that's her. Her hair color is much lighter than mine, I have to admit.

While Rika was sketching, Touma couldn't help in lean in just a bit to see what she was doing. For a split second, his eyes drift over to Rika's lips and he feels his heart skip a beat. Then he feels a hint of longing... But it's only for a moment. Whenever Rika finishes, Touma pulls back as his cheeks flush with a bit of embarrassment.]

--Eh? She looks like she could easily enroll around here as a student if she wanted! Not to mention... If you remove the horns, then I think that she'd look like the spitting image of you!

[But could it be...? His gut feeling would always tell him that there was something 'otherworldly' about Rika. But now, he's starting to feel that his intuition might've been dead on here.]

We're family, after all. She was closer to me than my own parents ever were. But Satoko was even closer to me.

[She practically sparkles as she says this, a small relief at being taken seriously.]

I see. If she ever shows up again, I'll have to keep that in mind. It wouldn't be the first time that I met a god. Hell, I know the last thing to do would be to piss one off.

[The Magic Gods had existed, after all. Touma of all people knew how violent they could get. But it was refreshing to know that not all gods were inherently destructive. Touma will take a moment to grab and bite down on another chocolate... It turned out to be another Chocolate Creme as he mentally remarks on the sweet center.

He feels another strange urge to look at Rika's lips and swallows a bit before changing the subject.]

Uh... About you and Houjou... Just how close are you two? I know you two came from the same village, but it sounds like the both of you have a lot of history.

Hanyuu is easy to please. If you get her cream puffs, she'd be ecstatic.

We've lived together practically all our lives. Both of our parents passed away when we were young, so we wound up living together--even more when... While I was technically adopted by Kimiyoshi, Satoko and I, for the most part just lived by ourselves. I knew how to take care of things around the house, and I taught Satoko what I knew, too.

[He's have to bake some if that day came. It felt weird to be cooking for a god, but Touma knew how bizarre his life could get sometimes.]

Huh... That explains why you've got such a mature aura. You learned how to be self-succinct at an early age. Gotta say that you've got the makings to become a great housewife someday! [A beat.] Houjou, though... Well, I can't help and feel a bit worried about her. Has she always been pulling pranks like a troublemaker?

[He personally didn't have a bad opinion on Satoko. She came off as a bit wild, but he couldn't say that he disliked her. Touma pauses for a moment.]

I guess if Houjou is going to be tagging along with us, then I'd like to understand her a bit more. I don't know how big her social circle is compared to yours, but I'd definitely wanna lend her a hand if she needs one.

[He couldn't help and give her a sheepish smile. Then he claps his hands together and bows his head.]

So pardon my selfishness, Rika-sama! I just want to be soothed in your healing rays for a bit!

[Touma definitely had a habit of making small hang-ups into bigger issues than they really were, but she was giving him the opportunity! He has to take a breath before he decides to carefully crawl over and gingerly rest his head in Rika's lap.]

Then I guess I should talk a little more about myself, huh? I don't think it's going to be as interesting as being worshipped as the reincarnation of a god, but I definitely know how it feels to be on the wrong end of popularity polls.

It's the opposite of yours, really. Back in the day, I was revered as a god of pestilence because every time I came into contact with people... They'd experience some kind of misfortune. My existence itself was treated as some kind of abomination.

Whenever I was younger, it got so nasty that I was nearly stabbed by someone who lost their business. They blamed me for everything wrong that happened to them. It sounds pretty absurd, but there's definitely a grain of truth here. I'm a pretty unlucky guy to be around.

[Despite his words and how grim everything sounds... Touma's voice doesn't hold any contempt or malice. In fact, he's talking as if it was someone else's experience than his own personal one.]
