you guys know what time it is... it's White Day, the day that you give back for the chocolate you received last month on Valentine's Day! (traditionally it's guys giving back to girls, but we don't worry about that sort of thing here c:) get all your best cookies, cakes, marshmallows and - if you're feeling traditional - white-colored accessories ready to go!

this is a free-for-all honestly, I was gonna make prompts and blanked out, so go wild instead! don't forget to list your prefs if you have any, tag your nsfw, be excellent to each other, etc. for extra funsies and/or if you need some inspiration, you can have ~Magic Chocolates~ from a really old White Day meme on bakerstreet:

1. Coconut: will cause you to do anything for attention from the first person you talk to.
2. Vanilla: initiates a traditional "I'm suddenly in love with you" scenario.
3. Truffle: causes physical attraction only. Feelings of lust.
4. Maple Nut: makes you want to stalk someone.
5. Raspberry: has you crushin' hard on a person, but you keep it a secret as much as you can!
6. Caramel: has you decide to ask someone out on a casual date. No immense feelings.
7. Mint: causes you to decide a person is your BEST FRIEND EVER. To what degree is up to you.
8. Lemon: causes HATEFUL feelings.
9. Chocolate Creme: inspires you to kiss the first person you see.
10. Too much of a good thing: you end up eating two chocolates. Roll twice to determine which two you eat. If you get #10 again, add a third chocolate, a fourth, etc. Two of the same chocolate doubles the intensity.

[ Which granted, it's not quite like a new tablet or anything. So, he goes right ahead to tryone, popping it into his mouth.

A pause...

Hmm. ]

It's not bad. There's an interesting taste to it, I can't put my finger on it though. Is this what fancy chocolate usually tastes like?

[ Hm. Weird aftertaste. ]

[dereban]

That depends on the context.

[Inaba hums to herself thoughtfully before putting another chocolate into her mouth to get a better idea of its taste.

After chewing and swallowing, she speaks up again:]

I wouldn't know, I've never actually had too much fancy chocolate.

[She's too much of a frugal person for that.]

I'm surprised. Do you not typically get chocolates for White Day?

[ ... ]

Hah, on second thought, don't answer that.

[dereban]

... why are you so surprised, hm?

[taketori]

I... well, I'd suspect you'd actually have guys after you. Although I guess that doesn't matter if you don't accept them.

[ Which is more likely? It's not like Inaba's unattractive, so that might be a good reason why? ]

[dereban]

...well, it's more that I don't give chocolates on Valentine's Day, so why should I be getting anything on White Day? I don't expect much because of that. Otherwise I'd probably be spoiled rotten by one of my older brothers.

[taketori]

I'd guess if somebody was willing enough to buck conventional customs-- but I suppose if you don't typically celebrate.

Which is all the more reason to enjoy the chocolate I gave you!

[ It makes him feel better about spending the money, at least?! ]

Mind if I have another one?

[dereban]

If there were people who did that... I'd be shocked if I got anything anyway. But I suppose I will enjoy it.

[She is going to regret taking a third one and popping it in her mouth before humming thoughtfully and nodding.]

Yeah, go for it.

Alright, let's see--

[ Of course, he could just grab another piece of chocolate. Just, reach on over and take it. Unfortunately, he's somewhat of a lightweight. Which is leading to him just, sidling a bit closer to Inaba, eyes somewhat darting back and forth between her and the chocolate before pulling another out.

And pausing momentarily. ]

Seriously. No one else has just given you chocolates before? Am I the only one?

[dereban]

[Sometimes you just eat a little too much aphrodisiac chocolate and it hasn't immediately set in yet on the first or even the second one.

But now that she's had three, well, that's a completely different story altogether.

She can practically hear her heart thumping loudly out of her chest and feel her cheeks warm. And that question... why does he want to know that badly?]

I'm really serious. Do I look like the kind of girl that would joke about that?

[taketori]

[ Genius that he is, he can't help but pop the second one in his mouth anyway. Miyuki had no earthly idea why his heart was pounding so fast-- maybe because the idea of that had certain implications?

He doesn't move much further, instead waiting to finish off the chocolate in his mouth before speaking again-- ]

I mean. You're really good looking, Inaba. Any guy'd be lucky to have you.

[ His mind's a bit hazy and he's certainly not lying, but it felt imperative that he said that. ]

[dereban]

Wait, wait, wait, you can't just say that!

[Inaba's own voice practically squeaks, her face burning an even brighter red.]

I mean. I know that I'm good looking, but --

[She doesn't finish that sentence.

She knows it will not lead to good ways.]

Besides, there's better girls out there.

[taketori]

I'm not concerned with the girls in there. Just the one right here.

[ The cool, embarrassing Miyuki's shining through, and he pauses, fidgeting slightly with his hands. He feels like he has to, unsure of what else he'll do with them otherwise-- ]

I-Inaba, I--

[ He swallows that down, getting a better look at her face. Something's stirring, and he doesn't know what to do about it. ]

Damn, when did it get so warm in here?

[dereban]

Ahaha...

[Inaba's own laughter is nervous and it's not entirely out of worry. Definitely a lot of embarrassment, though.]

I...

[...]

Not sure...S-Should I get some water, maybe?

[Gosh, why is she both stuttering and sounding so shy all of a sudden?]

[taketori]

[ This is bad. They're both feeling some kinda way after having the chocolate, that's for sure. Inaba's nervous laugh can be felt deep, Miyuki returning that momentarily before glancing away.

This is really, really bad. Every cell in his brain is telling him that he has to have her. That he should press her against the wall and have his way with her.

Shit. She might be feeling the same way-- ]

M...Maybe...

[ His mind races-- at this point, it's better to stall for time and hope the feeling passes, but just in case... ]

...there's no one in the student council room right now.

[ Miyuki kinda blurts it out, really trying to gauge her reaction to that. Sure, they usually have water on hand, but the insinuation that no one'll be there, and it may just be the two of them--

What would she think? ]

[dereban]

[What would she think?

Rational thought is slowly going out the window, even if the cogs in her mind still continue to turn. It might not last for much longer though, especially when the suggestion of nobody being in the student council room.

Her face burns a bright scarlet red, her gaze darting left and right, not wanting to look at him directly.]

I mean, if nobody's there, then...

[Her words trail off awkwardly as she brings a hand to the nape of her neck, rubbing at it awkwardly.]

Maybe... we could just go...?

[taketori]

[ That sealed that decision. Miyuki nods his head, leading her towards the room, heart feeling like it was preparing to burst out of his chest. Maybe, hopefully (?) the feeling'll be gone by the time they reach the room.

When they reach the StuCo's room, he gingerly turns the handle and slowly pushes the door open, while quickly scanning the room for literally anyone else just in case.

With the door open, he steps out of the way for Inaba to pass through. ]

It's empty.

[ Restating, mainly to set her at ease... or more, set himself at ease? No one's there, it really is just him and Inaba and a desk, the sofas and...

...

When he steps in, he makes it a point to lock the door behind him. ]

Have a seat, I'll... I'll grab the water.

[dereban]

[Silently, and admittedly a bit awkwardly, she follows him. Of course, she thinks that the walk there will let the feeling pass.

Except when they do reach the room, it's still there. It hasn't dissipated in the slightest bit.

She enters the room and he says that it's empty in a way that's meant to be reassuring, but... it's not. She can feel the lump in her throat that makes it difficult for her to speak. The loud sound of her heart racing, thumping loudly in her chest.

The sound only grows louder in her ears when she hears the sound of the door locking.

Her face reddens, and she finally manages to speak again, her voice edging on nervous.]

...yeah.

[Trying to steady her breathing, she slowly makes her way from one end of the room to the other before finding herself seated on one of the couches. In some ways, she feels like a fish out of water in this room...

But -

There's nothing to be concerned about, she's sure. Even in spite of the nerves.]

[taketori]

[ Drawing two cups, he produces a pitcher of water and brings them over to the couch, setting everything on the table in front of them.

Miyuki's careful, eyes fixed on the pitcher as he pours the contents in. Determined to not even glance in Inaba's direction, not paying attention to how he'd just naturally sat beside her and how she was feeling. For a second his gaze diverts, catching a glance at Inaba's legs... and he nearly fills his cup past the brim, catching himself just before and gingerly setting it right back down.

This is bad. He should take his cup and go back to his desk. This is really bad.

But, he can't move. ]

H...here.

[ He presents Inaba with her cup-- luckily not quite as filled as his. ]

[dereban]

[Inaba's trying to hyperfocus on practically anything that isn't...

Well.

Miyuki himself.

And for a few seconds, the calming sound of the water being poured into the cup does just that. But all good things must come to an end, so when it stops, she snaps back to the reality of things, and how keenly aware of the situation she's in is.

How the two of them are alone, in this large, spacious room together. How the door is locked from the inside, so nobody could dare possibly interrupt them if things got...

...

Her face reddens at how easily her thoughts shifted. It kind of scares her, a little bit. But she needs to keep herself together; yell at her racing heart to stop ringing in her ears so fast. She rubs her thighs together, in a faint hope that would alleviate things a bit.

It doesn't.

But she does smile - it's an awkward, forced one that s he's plastered on to bury down how she's actually currently feeling when he hands her the cup filled with water, taking it gingerly with her two hands.]

... thanks.

[She can't really muster many words in this awkward situation of theirs. So she fills the silence by drinking, trying to stall for time. But once her cup's emptied out, she does realize that she's still feeling warm.

And of course, she knew that it wouldn't work.

It was just a temporary measure, a distraction from how she's really feeling.

But she doesn't know what to say. Or what to do, for that matter. Well, half of it is because she does concern herself with the thought that if she made the first move and did anything, then her whole reputation would go out the window. She has just the slightest bit of reasoning left. Just a smidge.

It's only when she wants to fill the air with something that she speaks up again.]

How're you feeling...?

[There's a bit of hesitance in her voice, something shier slipping through the cracks than what you'd expect from the ice princess. And much more considerate, too.]

[taketori]

[ The silence is killing him. He's careful enough to try pick up his nearly overflowing water, trying not to quiver and spill anything. It could be something to focus on.

He doesn't know the best way to approach it, or whether or not he should even bother picking it up. His mind was too cloudy to focus on anything right now--

Really, he shouldn't be here. Part of him wants to run out of the door, or leap out of the window, whichever one got him away from this situation quicker.

No, that's a bit extreme. He's just nervous, potentially... delaying the inevitable? ]

Hm?

[ How he's feeling? At this point, he can't really lie and say he's fine. There's one clear constant in how they're both feeling at the moment, and he can't really ignore it.

Finally, just off of the top of his head, he quietly mutters. ]

...It's going to overflow.

[dereban]

[There's a lot of little ways to take a sentence like that.

And naturally, Inaba's gears are turning just enough to respond with something coherent.]

Do... you need help, then?

[Except that coherency comes with the worst wording in their current situation and can be taken in one of multiple ways.

She asks the question so he has an out.

He can just say 'no', after all. Make any excuse. It's there.]

[taketori]

[ When he said it, he was sure he was talking about the water-- but, was he?

He should say no. Taking advantage of Inaba like that, with how this all started in the first place, he shouldn't.

On the other hand, he's the one who caused all of this, and she's more than likely in the same boat. So. ]

...Would you... would you be willing to help?

[ One out left for Inaba herself. ]

[dereban]

[He's now putting it in her hands and that makes her even more flustered because that means that there's a lot of weight holding in her answer.

She swallows, nervous.

And then, answers,]

I wouldn't have asked if my answer was no...

[taketori]

[ One last gasp at trying to ignore any of this... but really, was the idea so bad? He hadn't been lying when he said he thought Inaba was attractive, and she was up for it...

Miyuki takes one last look at the cup of water, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. He steadies himself before he finally takes one more look at Inaba.

It overflows.

He gently brushes his hand against Inaba's cheek, cradling her in his palm as he leans in to press his lips against hers, the heat fully washing over him. ]
